Carey and Jess came to me with plans for a classic black and white wedding celebration that they wanted to carry through their letterpress wedding invitation design. With a focus on timeless design and a few modern twists, the wedding invitation suite came together in high style. High-quality details completed the look including letterpress printing, double-thick paper throughout, and black and white envelope liners. These details ensured an extra "wow" factor once the letterpress invitations reached their guests.
"Lou was wonderful - easy to work with, helpful and informative. It was a breeze working with her and the invitations are beautiful, so many compliments." Carey S.
The letterpress invitations maintained a classic design overall but utilized a square invitation card for a modern nod. Staggered date details kept the invite fresh and unique as well. The letterpress invitations were printed on double-thick cotton paper which emphasizes the letterpress impression. Then they were paired with timeless black and white striped envelope liners. Inner and outer envelopes were used as a final touch to make sure the letterpress invitation suites were delivered safely to guests' homes.
The couple hails from Colorado. With many out of town guests, a separate reception card was incorporated to share the wedding website with detailed travel information. The wedding attire was listed here as well.
For the response card, it was essential to allow each guest space to indicate their meal choice. To allow for this necessity, two response lines were listed on each card. This helped to minimize extra follow up by the hosts.
The wedding was held at Baltimore Country Club in Baltimore, Maryland.
